bought new 2013 last June. it had some things quirky with doors,steering and trunk. took into dealer

they had it 3 days. ffirst day i called because they did not call me was told they were trying to figure out steering wheel sound. next day i called and was told the sensor needed to be replaced.keep car one more day til part came in. 3rd day said ready for pick up.i was handed a print out of what they did and it said nothing wrong with my car. checked under hood noticed alot of different colored paint daurbs on engine parts. i never noticed them before.took my car back because noise in steering still there,they had one of their mechanics listen. said need replace air bag module said sound rubbing from that.long story short do new 2013 cars have engine parts daubed with different colored paint?

No,that is probably what they were checking ,and marked it to know they have all ready checked it.
