2001 dodge neon starts but won't stay running.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
The timing belt tensioner went so I replaced
belt, water pump, and tensioner. The old
computer was bad, so I bought a new one
of them. Now the car starts but won't stay
running it just kind of dies.

is there a red indicator flashing on the right side of your gauges?

Nope. Had to deal with that before too haha.
that sucks, it could be a lot of things then. i'm assuming the belt didnt break and no valves were bent? its probably a bad connection, ground.
If you are sure that the cam timing is correct, the idle air control valve is good and that there are no vacuum leaks you will probably have to run the engine for a while to let the computer relearn the idle parameters.
What does the red indicator light mean? I have an 03 neon that won't stay running and the red indicator light is coming on. I was really thinking it was the iac valve but not so sure now
