Is it possible to play music through my iPhone 6 on 2013 BMW X5 without using the cord? I can't get it to work.

Asked by boshea18 Feb 15, 2017 at 11:25 AM about the 2013 BMW X5 xDrive50i AWD

Question type: General

I bought this car used. I can pair it and I, along with anyone else, can play
music through the phone, but you have to be connected with the iPhone
cable. We have a 2012 Jeep and a 2013 Xterra and with both of these
cars, you don't have to be connected via cable to play music. Why would
you need to in a high-end car? I must be doing something wrong. Can
someone please advise? Thanks.
