Battery and Alarm system

Asked by Danny Oct 31, 2019 at 05:15 PM about the 2013 Hyundai Sonata SE FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've had my 2013 Hyundai Sonata for a year now. It has 64,000 miles on it. It
has never given me any trouble up until a few days ago. I went out and tried
to start it and the alarm system instantly came on. Car wouldn't attempt to
crank. All the inside lights worked and the radio worked as well. I was told it
might be because my battery is low so I got it jumped. Again it wouldn't start
nor attempt to crank. This time with the battery cables hooked up the alarm
system didn't go off. So now I'm stuck scratching my head what could it be?
