The assembly itself? Depending if it is in the sun, the plastic breaks down and the headlight will yellow over time due to the UV. Usually in ten years time. But it could last the lifetime of the vehicle otherwise. Sometime the seal fails and you can get condensation inside the lens , so then you would need to replace.
How long should you head light assembly be good for? how long between have to replace it.
