noise in steering wheel

Recently started hearing a loud clicking noise in steering when turning left.  Also the noise is more apparent when driving over bumps or RR crossing.

First thought....you may want to check your cv joints. As they wear down they essentially create a gap between them and their housings. As you turn with said situation it creates 2 parts moving at different speeds which can create the clicking noise as they tap together
