Hyundai Sonata 2.0T (2013)
Our engine failed on July 31, 2019. Hyundai paid for repairs at a dealer 4 hours
from our home. When we picked it up in September, there was a fuel rail leak
due to overtightening of a screw. Our dealer where we purchased the car
repaired it at no cost to us. Since then the turbo is no longer working, and it
sounds like a header bolt has come off because of loud exhaust noise.
Time to get firm with the dealer. Let them know the issues and if they don't take ownership of the poor service let them know your next step will be to contact the BAR (Bureau of Automotive Repair). The BAR can force them to fix their poor workmanship. They are fair to all parties so it was their fault they will fix it. P.S. tell them you don't want to have to drive 4 hours again for a repair. They should pay for a tow.
