lifter ticking sound 2013 only 123000 miles

I have a 2013 KIA Rio with a bad lifer ticking sound  it only has 123000 miles on
it. I have owned this car from new and  have made regular oil changes. What
could cause this  issue ?

Can not tell you what caused it but can tell you what can make the tapping go away. Add some Lucas Engine Oil Stabilizer to oil do not over fill.
