Thinking about buying a 2005 thunderbird...

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Is it difficult to repair 2005 50 th anniversary thunderbirds, are parts easily available, as
well as mechanics? What is their track record as far as maintenance is concerned? May
also consider slightly older if low miles/great shape and would use as primary vehicle.

They are fun cars. It's not a every day driver but could be.
They seem to be solid cars, like any other ford product all parts and service should be availible at a reasonably good price point. Heres the link to edmunds owner reviews of the 2005 thunderbird: http://www.edmunds.com/ford/thunderbird/2005/
They are worth about $11k in very good condition, This was the last year and they made two models of it... both convertibles. One is the special 50th anniversary model which is the one I would want if I was in the market.
My 2002 T Bird is a daily driver. I love it. it is a great car.
