Upper lower suspension parts

When changing ball joints and tie rod do I have to change on driver and
passenger side or can I just change side that is finished

You can, but it's always recommended when you replace steering and suspension components that you do so in pairs. If one side is worn, the other is not far behind. And after the parts are installed, an alignment is also necessary.
