Cost of maintenance, repairs, and upkeep

I'm looking to buy a Ford Focus ST. In particular, a used 2013 model with
about 75,000 miles on it. If I was to make the purchase, I'd like know what I'd
be in store for as it pertains to the cost of maintenance, repairs and up-
keep...with all the miles already on it, how long before the engine light comes
on? How long do these car's last?

Looking for a little certainty in an uncertain world? Good luck with that- especially where used cars are concerned- your costs will be determined by how the car was treated and maintained by the previous owner(s)- how can you know? roll the dice-
