2000 Dodge Durango power loss at first takeoff

Asked by GuruSLKW5 May 28, 2019 at 09:17 PM about the 2000 Dodge Durango SLT RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2000 Dodge Durango 5.2. anytime I start to take off
whether it's in the morning or during the day if I stop and shut
it off for a long period Of time then start it and take off it
loses power for a few seconds then the power kicks in and as
long as I'm driving it's fine it's only the first initial takeoff.
What would cause that?
