Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2000 dodge durango 5.2 2wd won't start. Battery
alternator and starter all tested and all working
good. When the key is in the ignition everything
lights up then when you turn it to start it makes like
a "crack" sound and everything goes dead.

Sounds like a bad connection at the battery. Check for corrosion and brush clean or apply baking soda/water mix to clear. Make sure the clamps are completely seated and properly snug, then try to start the engine
