Hw do you set the timing chain on 2013 Chevy Equinox

Husband is trying to set the timing after replacing the timing chain set and is
having problems lining up the marks.  I need my car back so asking for help

Hi Karen, he'll need to refer to a repair manual for this. Some GMs have the timing marks in the right position with the number one piston at top dead center while on others it's the number six piston that needs to be at top dead center. Hope that helps! Jim
