2013 Dodge Avenger

I just had a new alternator put on my2013 Dodge Avenger and now it needs
replacing again.  Why is happening?

Short in the system drawing down the battery and leaving the internal voltage regulator inside the alternator to power the engine and try to charge the battery causing the voltage to put out to high an amperage and burning the voltage regulator. You need to find the short causing the draw.
