Question type: Maintenance & Repair

my windows frost up and I can barley see when driving must keep heat on defrost on high. However it dries the eyes out when on high. If I was to put it on floor and defrost then my windows frost up bad. however when idling it will defrost my windows.  what could be wrong?

Too much interior moisture? Look for leaks. You could also use a chemical moisture absorber to dry out the cars interior.

my sun roof is like an icicle .but once im idling for awhile it will defrost. I cant seem to travel anywhere unless my one window is left open a bit but then it gets really cold in the vehicle on my legs. I don't understand why it will defrost when idling but not when travelling a distance

I know on my vehicle, different year--make--model. With heater on, may vehicle side windows fog up real bad. I roll the windows down, the inside fog goes away, doesn't take long. I know, hard to roll windows down when it's freezing outside, but, it works for me. Maybe I could just turn the heat control down? I don't know? I haven't tried it.

Heat only vaporizes the moisture but the moisture stays in the car. Like oily says opening the windows can help get rid of the moisture. When I snow plow I have to keep the defroster blasting while keeping a window open an inch or two.
