Yukon AC Is cold, but not blowing

Our 2013 Yukon Xl is blowing cold air behind
the dash, but not through the front vents.  It’s
intermittent, and sometimes can be fixed by
shutting off the car for about 30 min.  Under
the hood the AC unit is covered in ice. The
vents in the back are blowing cold air, jist not
as strong as usual.  Any help would be great!  
We still have 800 miles on the highway
through Texas!

Well..I just watched a video on replacing the blend door actuator. Since it’s located right at my feet I’m kicking the crap out of it while we’re driving. Lol. Seems to be working for now. Only 742 miles left. Will update once I get back to TX
