remove headrest

is there a trick getting the post to come out of seat theplastic button only raises and lowers headrest?

There should be a spot you can depress on both plastic pieces on the seat one should be on the outer and the other on the inner. you should be able to depress both of those and pull on the headrest and it come out.

In 2012 models and up, the headrests are hard wired into the seat. I went to the dealership and asked. They have to disconnect it to the safety mechanism inside the seat.
