grand cherokee v6 versus a v8

I am looking at a grand cherokee V8 with 72K on it and certified pre owned.  
Keeping in mind gas milage will be higher is there any other reason you
would advise against?

Go to consumerreports.org. Get a one month subscription for $6.95 and get honest reviews, buying advice, ratings and comparisons. Will also give you a list of recalls. Best source of information to help you make the decision.
