Factory amp blown or radio?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
When I turn my radio up my right speaker crackles
but when I turn my fader all the way right it doesn't
do it. I've taking my radio out and cleaned it. When
it would do it I'd smack my radio (cause hitting it is
going to make it work right?) Well it started
working and now it's not helping when I hit it.

Or hit it harder with a bigger hammer.

I'm going to try a new speaker before I completely meds everything up.

I suspect the speaker cone is cracked.
Sorry Kiagirl2013 , I just couldn't resist. Smacking any electronic component, including a radio actually does bring it back to life... sometimes. No disrespect, no offense intended. Hope you had a Good Christmas to you and yours

None taken. My dad was a mechanic so you know when you get to the frustrating part of trying to fix something and you just end up breating the crap out of it? That's me today lmao.
