I meant to say my car's gauge goes up then back down. I changed the thermostat water pump , radiator cap. But I noticed that some little smoke cones from the back, I was told it may be the head gasket. I have a 2004 dodge stratus se 4 door. Also the coolant was bubbling up. Bubbling coolant, temperature gauges goes up after long periods on road. Thermostat water pump, coolant fuse change but the fan seems to be a little weak. Spark plugs changed 4 months ago. I'm thin...

My car leaks anti freezer. I put in a new thermostat...and it was ok, but the car is leaking anti freezer...now the car gage is running hot.

My 2003 dodge stratus overheats after about a mile of driving. It doesn't blow hot air when I have it on full blast. It also doesn't take coolant from the reserve. I replaced the thermostat recently. 4 Answers
