Fuel pump 2000 Dodge Stratus

I was driving my car yesterday and
all of a sudden, it shut off. After a
few minutes, it started up again, I
did some running around and once
again, the car stopped running
again. I turned the key on so I could
hear if the fuel pump was running, it
ran a little bit, then I heard nothing.
I'm sure if I go try and start it, it will
start, but like yesterday it will stop
again. Any an all answers would be
greatly appreciated.

I went back to where my car was, it started right up. I then went and bought some dry gas treatment and this took care of my problem. Thank you for your reply.
