Our 2013 Kia Soul blew its engine at 88,000 miles. The clutch went out at 86,000. Very disappointing.

I have a 2010 Kia Soul exclaim. It has 145,550 on it. Had the timing maintained and a few odd and ends. Overall a great car. I have the 5 speed manual transmission too. Powerful for a tiny engine

I also have a Kia Soul. It now has 150000 miles on it and is still running like a new Soul. It starts without hesitation, and the transmission is also doing great. I have nothing to say that is negative, except that I wish I knew where the fan filter was located (behind the glove box). It got jammed up with weeds and other trash. Burnt the fan motor out. Cost to replace is $450 to 750.00. This will curl your toes, there was only four oil changes for the past seven years. Yeah, I know, and that is why I bought another. Anything that can take that kind of abuse and still live gets my vote. They are great cars. I promise I will treat the new one with care. I paid in advance for all it's care for five years.

I have a 2017 Base model Soul with 135,000 miles. I have changed the oil regularly and replace brake pads and tired as needed. I have done nothing else and it runs great. I'm getting ready to replace the timing belt and plugs at the end of this month. I have customized it a little. I put 17inch rims on it and different seats. I also put side mirrors on it that have turn indicators in them.

I’ve got a 2013 Kia Soul I just bought back in December. I have put about 10000 miles on it now. I used to look down on Kia’s. I am not afraid to admit. I’m a Kia guy for life

2010 with 170,000 Just now changing a timing belt at my mechanic's recommendation. Only issues I've had has been the warning light associated with low tire seems to cause other lights to light up. Keep up on oil changes, transmission fluids tires and breaks and you are good to go. Reliable car....Great for people who trash cars by quickly putting miles on them.

2013 with 106,000 on it. I bought it used but runs like brand new. Only scratch on mine is a strange one on the dash. I can't believe that a seven year old car with no scratches and no dents or dings even exists. I am parking in the back of parking lots and hope. I love my Soul and would certainly advise anyone to drive one compare to others in the same class (sub compact) and I think you may very likely buy it. Oh some things I missed here - mine is a +, black, but doesn't get very hot due to very dark windows (they don't keep you from seeing out) and the height is perfect, at least for me. I have a really bad back and just step in. Not high, not low, just right. I hope you have at least thought about looking at one.

I have a 2011 Kia Soul ! 153k, no engine/trans problems. I drive it a lot, so I go thru tires like water. I've only had front suspension issues because I live in a horrible pot hole zone. The rubber edging on the sun roof and one in back are loose but everything is still water tight. I've literally lived in this car over a summer camping excursion. It is awesome and I adore it!

I have 2013 KIA SOUL! with 105,000 Never had a problem. Just routine maintenance. I love it and hope to get even more miles out of it. Has a few tiny dents from others hitting with their doors. It still looks new!

2011 Soul+ Denim Blue 2.0L 5 speed with 135,000 miles. Tune-up at 100k, just installed new starter (still working but solenoid going), replaced blown rear 8" subwoofer (upgraded sound system) and usual maintenance. Really haven't been too careful about oil changes. Car still runs great and I take it on long trips with confidence. Car was wife's idea but I am sold - we bought a 2019 Soul+ and it is way nicer than the 2011.

I have a 2013. Bought at 25000 and now has 140000. Love the drive. Have had front end work and brakes and some odd thing with all the lights going on (they all came loose from a connection, it happens I guess). I have put in a couple grand but she runs perfect. I have noticed it runs better and I get better mileage if I use no ethanol gas. Mine is named "the tin man". Car fits me perfectly and handles wonderfully.

2013 with 238,000, still going. Uses some oil, but that's cheap compared to a car payment. Had the cat converter replace just shy of 200k (warranty covered!). Leaky head gasket and replaced all four coils. Oil changes every 5k with full synthetic. Spark plugs every 100k. Brakes and tires as needed. Hoping to hit 300k. Local dealer said they had a guy that came in for regular maint that just passed 500k, and that was a couple years ago. No complaints.
