Is it ok to drive impala 2013 with engine hot a.c. sign off..on? Its not running hot.

How do you know it is not running hot? Ignore the warning at your (and your engines) peril!

never run hot 230 degrees+... engine damage will happen.

Thank u Jason..so it could just be a faulty temperature sensor gauge? Ill have it checked out but just can't afford to at this time. Thank you.

when the engine is cool , look to make sure the radiator is full 100% any air pockets will cause overheating. check all hoses for signs of leaks. gm engines are easy to repair on your own if u have time and tools. sometimes it can be the sensor. check everything else first. go to pep boys or o'reily for free diagnostic scan and coolant temperture check.
