Car guru offers how do they work?

Hello,
Im trying to sell a car here, and i keep getting a lot of  offers, but no phone calls.
Call me old school but i dont know of any person that would make a offer on a car without calling/and or seeing it first
Does this make sense?
Or are the offers useless?
