My Ford Focus LW Trend is dead

Went to use my car and couldn't unlock with remote, unlocked with key but when I put the key in the lock to start the car, it was completely dead no lights nothing!, I had no warning of flat battery but tried the lights and nothing at all working, so not sure if it is a battery problem,

Batteries fail in all different kinds of ways some give a warning and some develop a shorted cell. I look at the age and time of year (cold weather) your battery is still sort of young but not uncommon to fail Sears will do a check for a few dollars
