it should be changed every few years and it is generally located under the vehicle on the same side that your fuel door is. but that is not always the case, in all honesty it could be anywhere, even mixed in with the engine

chang it every 30,000 miles,is located at rear of van at gas tank,if u have never changed one ,pull ecm fuse turn engine over to let the pressure off the fuel system,it wont crank with this fuse out and will not let the fuel pump kick in,when done replace fuse turn keyswitch on,dont try to crank until you here the FP quit humming, then crank.

Hey there, you should check your car manual for what is the best time to replace your filter, but a good reccomendation is that you replace the filter every 30,000 miles or so. There is not a specific check engine light that will appear telling you to replace it, so it makes things hard. If another check engine light comes on it could be problems caused by a dirty filter. I found a site that has some decent informaton about when to change it and how to know if it does need to be changed. http://motor.onehowto.com/article/when-to-change-your-fuel- filter-9921.html Hope this helps!
