Question type: Maintenance & Repair

have this truck and we stopped at a friends house and hung out for awhile. when we
went to go and start it it would turn over but not fire. We did not hear the fuel pump so
we pulled it into the garage and dried everything out. went to try to start it 3 hours later
after everything was dry and heard the fuel pump kick in and it fired right up. Got about
a mile down the road in a snow storm and it died and would not start again. so not its
back in the garage again. cause fuel pump is not kicking on. we are thinking
something is getting wet and causing the fuel pump to not kick in. any ideas please let
me know asap.

obviously, check all of the electrical connecitons associated with the fuel pump, and then have the fuel pressure tested to make sure it is within specs for your vehicle.

pressure spec for the 3.9 v6 is 44-54. if you have something different you will have to google it.
