change timing chain

I was wondering if there is a certain mileage that the timing chain needs to be replaced . I have 142.700 miles now and also how often for changing oil in transfer case

The timing chain is suppose to last the life of the engine. The transfer case oil is due to be changed.

I change transfer case oil about every 30,000 miles.
