No. The worst that would happen is the ABS would not work.

could it be relative? Could a crank shaft censor set off a break warning light?

How did you fix it? I replaced my sensor and still the same problem?

Bummer. All I did was pull the speed/abs sensor out of the rear differentials and installs a new OEM part. Cancelled the code and it was all good.
