I have a 1998 dodge durango the serpentine belt
broke and after replaced it its been overheating
and leaking coolant. It cranks up then dies., the
radiator cap, water pump bottom radiator hose are
all new.

Sounds like you got the wrong belt. Your belt tensioner may be at its limit even though the belt looks tight it will slip at higher speeds because there is no spring tension left to compensate for the higher rpm. Get a belt one inch shorter. If you have changed things like idler pulley,alternator,ac clutch,belt tensioner. After market parts can have slightly different diameter pulleys. You would notice if they were bigger because the belt won’t fit,but if they are a little smaller you won’t notice because the belt will go back on but might not be tight enough to cool properly.
