i have an abs light stuck on and my e-brake is also stuck on how do i check for the eror code

the book i have gives me the eror codes but how do i get the codes off my truck it doesnt say i have
one of those wonderful chilton books i was thinking of useing an OBD11 but i dont no if it will work i
dont have a check engine light on

You can use the OBD II port but you need a more advanced scanner to read the brake system trouble codes. You could take it to a repair shop, have them scan it and give you an estimate for repair. You can decide then if you want to tackle it, let the shop do it or drive without ABS.

thank you i will give it a try were would i get the more advanced OBD 11. I went to autozone and they said they didnt have one maybe dodge would??

Autozone would have a basic scanner to read engine trouble codes. Independent garages and repair shops might have the advanced scanner. GM uses the Tech 2 - Dodge uses the Actron ABS BrakeScan Diagnostic Tool. The dealer would have one but they would probably charge you for the diagnostic scan.

Looks like you need to do the rear brakes and change out the ABS sensor on the rear diff.
