I have a 99 Dodge Durango worth a fuel pump problem. I've checked the relays and fuses, booths are okay. Dropped tank & cleaned filter, pump runs for a few seconds and stops.

(The brain is getting hot shutting off veh with no steering no brake. Manufacturers problem no fix because they put emc in engine compartment 3 inches from manifold. It heats up wrapping board then starts when cool. Once it happens you need new brain but that won't fix the location problem. Suggest u join the many complaints of dodge death cars at NHTSA. Also be aware of steer ing knuckle stripping out and tie rod on passenger side stripping out grinding tire to pieces. Also has air bag on drivers side that explodes with metal fragments. Door locks that unlock on there own and a air conditioner that's moldy die to leackage. They sell u a can of Lysol to fix it. What a joke. There's kits for the steering knuckle and tie rod bushing but why should you be paying and fixing there mistakes. Join the crowd! Also a bolt comes loose burning your rig up because they didn't put locktight on it! Beware there death rigs. Look up 1999 dodge Durango no bus!
