Air bag

Asked by Jeridberg Jan 25, 2019 at 06:04 AM about the 1999 Dodge Durango SLT 4WD

Question type: General

I recently bought a 1999 dodge durango and
as I was driving it home the airbag system
and horncover fell into my lap with looks to
be only the horn wire attached and when I
bought it the screws were out of the back of
the steering wheel anyway to safely put the
cover back on without deploying the airbag
also it sat for quite a while before I bought it
with the airbag disconnected wouldn't that
cause it to be defective and we replaced the
screws but needing to know if we. Just put
the screws back in with only reassembling
the horn will the airbag go off?
