Towing durango

I have a 2013 durango it says towing capacity is 6200 pounds. Mine does not have the
trailer package if I add a hitch can I tow that much of is the an engine upgrade that mine
does not have?

It also depends on what trailer package you get, you can ask your dealer for the info or send an email to Chrysler and ask for the building information for your Durango providing th Vin number of your truck.
