i need to remove a tire and the nuts look like they need a special "star Wrench"

I had the factory tires replaced a tear ago at a tire shop and they never said anything about a special wrench. After I had the tires changed I have been using the car since and now I got my first flat. I can't find the tool .Perhaps it was accidentally left at the tire shop. Where can I buy the "star" shaped tool to remove the nuts? the emergency road service guy didn't have one. Help.
