Does anyone know what a flashing check engine
light with ignition on engine off means? I know it
means cylinder misfire when engine running but
what if it's not running. Light flashes for a couple
secs after ignition on  for minute then stays solid.

Flashing light with engine off could mean 2 things Your on board running a diagnostics or the is a potential fault noticed and will have to have it diagnosed before it gets severe
