Leaking coolant
Just wanted to share that I just purchased a used
2013 Dodge Charger R/T Max with only 15,000
original miles. Had the car for a month and took a
drive out to the country and after 30-minutes of
driving noticed white smoke coming from my
engine. Checked my car temperature indicator and
it started overheating to 200 degrees. Immediately
pulled over and noticed coolant on my engine.
Towed my vehicle to my repair shop and diagnosed
that I needed a new radiator, thermostat, and
coolant w/parts & labor of over $900s, but had a
10% discount from AAA, which saved me $100s
bringing the total to little over $800 (State of
Hawaii).
After reading a few similar issues on this forum with
our 2013 Dodge Chargers makes me wonder if this
was a factory defect? Just saying...
