Hey I was looking into superchargers. I know how it works but I'm not in on the tech in the gears and snout I know everything pretty much bolt on to the manifold then to your car and I mean the supercharger manifold that is, not your regular one. I'm pretty good at welding and I was thinking of taking a cheap Gm supercharger and taking the blower off and custom building an adapter to the blower and a supercharger manifold I'm also gonna buy. To me really don't matter what manifold as long as it fits my car I'm sure I'll lose a little power out of the Gm supercharger . To me this really don't matter I just want a Lil bit more low in power like the Mustang has just enough to give me a quicker launch and a good G force feeling. Mostly the power lost to me is not that big of a deal out of the supercharger cause after the turbos will kick in and take over... of course I will build up my bottom end to handle the boost but Idk if my top end can handle it since I'm also stroking it .... but tell me if you think it's possible as long as it matches in length with the belt or if it's way more complicated . The cost of both is 700 for a polished hemi supercharger manifold and 800 for a used zl1 Gm supercharger on ebay
