I have a 2013 cts coupe4 premium, do i
need a subscription to xm radio to
continue to have it work?

Probably,but some vehicles did have a lifetime subscription. Continue to drive it and if the Sirius XM continues to operate don't worry about it. If it stops then it is time to get a subscription if you wish to use it. Also if you do subscribe to Sirius XM never take the first price they offer as you can haggle them down to a much better deal. I recently got them to do $70.00 per year on my 2014 Dodge Ram and our 2014 Lincoln MKZ.

You do NOT need a Sirius XM subscription to have the navigation system working.

No, but you do need it to have it alert you to traffic and weather issues. Without that, you might just as well use your phone.
