SERVICE STABILITRAK & TRACTION CONTROL & ABS LIGHT COMES ON

Asked by GuruP9L6V Jan 13, 2020 at 08:51 AM about the 2013 Cadillac CTS Coupe 3.6L Premium RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When this happens the car doesn't run right, the gauges go wacky and car
doesn't act correctly and the power decreases tremendously. Took it to the
Cadillac dealer and they told me that I had to replace the entire harness on
the car and it would cost me $5,000 for starters and could cost more.
Then I took it to where I purchased the car and he reprogrammed the car
and it was good for about 10 months. But it came back and I have the same
issues. It usually happens when I hit a bump.

One of the connectors is not fully engaged. Tough to find, but it should not be hard for a dealer. I would avoid the place that told you the harness needs replacement.
