2013 335i 64k miles is it too much mileage or its depends?

Asked by Jose L. Aug 20, 2016 at 02:56 PM about the 2013 BMW 3 Series 335i Sedan RWD

Question type: General

Saw this 2013 BMW 335i White black interior M-Package just as I like. The only issue is that the car has 64,661 miles. I Believe to me that a concerns since we are talking about a BMW out of warranty and it can get expensive to fix if something goes wrong. Just want a general opinion from you guys here. Would you jump on it or Pass?

Really depends on who's selling this car, is it a certified pre-owned vehicle from a new car dealership?? And, you can purchase an extended mechanical breakdown warranty for three additional years and up to 100,000 miles. I purchased my 2010 Subaru in May 2014 with 66,000 miles. Had the car for 30 months and no problems. My credit union offered me the extended warranty up to 100,000 or 3 years same as the dealership for one half the cost, same coverage, 36 months vs, 30 months. The devil is in the details, good luck...One more thing, when purchasing a used car, condition is everything..

I would pass on any used BMW that does not have a warranty.

It's advisable to get a warranty on any car for peace of mind, you'll sleep better, and things happen on cars. I don't think that this is any more risky than any other car. Again, purchase it from a new car dealership, they have the most to lose if they sell you a LEMON. Used car dealers are known for dumping the most undesirable cars, exceptions vary, but, the old saw about no wanting to buy a used car from that man or woman is legendary....
