2013 Kia Optima Won't Start - No Power - Battery Good
I have a 2013 Kia Optima SXL, One day the key fob wouldn't unlock my
doors so I just thought I had a dead key fob, but after unlocking the doors
with the key and placing the key fob in the secondary location to start the car
I found out it wasn't the key fob. My car won't start whatsoever, it doesn't turn
over and none of the accessories or lights come on. When I push the "push
to start" button nothing happens. I tried to get it jumped but turns out my
battery is good because I got it tested, when I tried to get it jumped the
accessories came on while the connections were on but as soon as he
removed it everything cut right back off. The tow truck driver said that when
he hooked up his machine to my battery that it actually took his voltage
down. He said I wouldn't be able to get my car jumped and that it would need
to be towed to a mechanic.
Has anyone ever had this happen and know what was done to fix it?
Because it is so close to Thanksgiving Kia told me they wouldn't even be
able to look at my car until the end of next week and I definitely need my car
before then. Any advice would be great.
