I am shopping for a Infinti G37 coupe. My plans include installing a aftermarket double din navigation headunit. The kit to mount replaces the screen's controls, and does not work with factory equiped navigation. So I am looking a 2010 to 2013 2 door G37 non navigation car.
Nice ploy, Paul. I had a 2009 G37x w/o NAV and traded up to a 2013 G37xS to get nav and the memory seats for my wife and I, after also investigating NAV options. That said, the OE '13 NAV works surprisingly well. But I too discovered that the harnesses are different. Secondly, the SEDAN handles better than the Coupe once one swaps in the Coupe's inexpensive OE fatter rear antisway stabilizer bar and upgrades to 18" wheels if necessary. I always preferred the Coupe's styling, but the too-long doors are trouble in parking lots, and the handling just isn't as good. Not sure why.
I know how u feel Paul. I have an 07 Infinity G35X And I love my car so much, Best car I ever had. But I’m having the same problem my car has navigation, and can’t find anything to let me put an AfterMarket HeadUnit in. So imma just have to do some Custom work and are Wire the car up to put my Pioneer HeadUnit in.
