1998 Dodge Durango Overheating
Was overheating, installed new thermostat, radiator, radiator cap and water
pump. Still overheating and blowing coolant out of radiator violently when cap
was off and bleeding system after car came up to opening temperature and
started overheating.
So then:
Changed heads, head gasket, water pump, thermostat (AGAIN) and car still
doing same, overheating.
So then, changed raidiator again and still overheating but, noticed that upper
radiator hose stayed cool even when the car overheated.
So then, pulled thermostat to rule it out and ran car. Still overheated with
thermostat out. Also, upper radiator hose still not hot when overheating.
One last note, clutch fan tested good.
Please help, I'm about to call the junk yard to tow away this money pit...
