Water Pump?

Asked by courtney Dec 16, 2019 at 12:22 PM about the 2013 Honda Fit Sport

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm so confused... according to my owner's manual, my maintenance minder
doesn't mention replacing the water pump on my 2013 Honda Fit.  I even
looked in the index in the back of the manual, and I can't find mention of a
water pump anywhere.  But Google says my water pump should have been
replaced at 60-90,000 miles, and I'm at 98,000 now.  What am I missing here?

What engine do you have? We can tell you if it has a timing belt or chain. Google might be referencing engines with a timing belt and you normally replace the water pump at the same time, which is 90 to 120K miles
