Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2013 BMW 528i valve cover gaskets has been
replaced the problem now is that when I drive for
20 minutes or so and stop the car starts to smoke
I also noticed a light tail of smoke from the rear of
the car when I'm on the highway my mechanic tells
me now that it might be the vacuum pump for the
oil what's your thoughts car has 99000 miles on it

What color is the smoke? If it’s bluish gray your turbo is going out. I just had mine replaced a few weeks ago. Try LKQ for the part. Way cheaper than the dealer.
