Battery Problem or something else?

Asked by Laurie Jul 06, 2016 at 01:13 PM about the 2013 Toyota Corolla S

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Sometimes my 2013 Corolla S won't start. It clicks as if it wants to start but
won't. I turn the key in the accessory position and let it sit for about a
minute and try to turn the engine again and it will start after a few times.
I've had the battery, alternator and starter tested and all came back fine.
My light has never gone on and my car has not died while driving. Could it
be a loose or bad cable?

That clicking you hear, is low battery drain. The positive cable to solenoid, the attaching nut is loose, take off the neg wire, tighten nut, clean battery terminals, apply die- electric grease to post, reconnect, start engine let ide 5 minutes. Done Have a great summer and thank for choosing carguru
