I recently purchased a used 2013 MINI Cooper (R56 base model) 52,000 miles
- need to know how I find previous service/maintenance records to properly
maintain it moving forward - do I contact local MINI dealer with VIN #? Thanks

That's a good place to start. Did they not let you look at the history with Carfax?
I am trying to find out about my history on my mini I looked at the carfacts but it doesn't say the last time a service had been done,I spoke to a mini dealer I gave him the vin over the phone he said all the maintenance has been done he talked too fast I asked if he could email it to me he said no.
