my 97 dakota neeeds a new headlight switch , i want to know what year from the 80's to the 90's in to the 0000's can this truck go p to and can i switch it up a bit , ? it has a pull switch now but can i switch it to a knob turn type switch ?

IIRC they changed the headlight switch every year from 97-00, 99 might be the same as 98 or 00, I'm not sure..... but 97 is unique I can tell you that. I don't know if you can hook up a switch from a different year or not.... most of the wiring is the same from 97-00 so I imagine it's possible
